Research Joint Laboratory of Three Gorges University

The School of Water Resources and Environment of Three Gorges University was founded in 1978 by the former Department of Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering Architecture of Gezhouba Hydroelectric Engineering College. The 51WORLD Water and Environment Division and the School of Water Resources and Environment of Three Gorges University jointly built a laboratory, conducting in-depth discussions on industry university research cooperation such as the construction of smart water conservancy research teams and digital twin platform construction. The aim is to cultivate composite application talents that meet the needs of enterprises, jointly develop practical and easy-to-use water industry functions (algorithm/simulation rendering integration) plugins, and create smart water conservancy digital twin education standard products, sharing resources and win-win cooperation, promoting the development of smart water conservancy and digital twin technology.

Huai'an Institute Digital Twin Joint Platform for South to North Water Diversion Project

In collaboration with the South to North Water Diversion Water Source Company and Huai'an Institute, based on the standard training courses of the digital twin platform, PaaS platform is used to provide platform development resources for the trainees of the South to North Water Diversion Water Source Science and Information Technology Company and Huainan Survey Institute. By setting preliminary development goals and using PaaS platform and API as tools support, the trainees of the two companies are trained to gain knowledge and understanding of the PaaS platform through course training and practical operations, as well as certain practical development abilities, further targeting the digital twin business market area positioned by Huai'an Survey Institute
